A welcoming club for all levels
In 2024, the newly formed Farnham Croquet Club set out in search of a home. They soon found one at the ‘Traco’, where the Aldershot Traction Bowls and Croquet Club was created – bringing both sports together on a shared lawn under a single membership.
New to croquet? We’ll help you get started
We provide guidance and all the necessary equipment for beginners, making it easy to try the sport. If you’d like to learn more or are thinking of joining, come along to our open day or visit during a rollup session. New novice players enjoy 50% off first-year membership.

When you can play
We have a full-sized lawn and our playing season runs from April through September, with league matches and friendlies throughout the season. Regular rollups offer a relaxed way to practise and meet fellow members:
- Wednesdays 2pm – 5pm
- Thursdays 2pm – 5pm
- Sundays: 2pm – 5pm
You can also book the lawn via our online system for members.
Competitions and leagues
Alongside rollups and friendly matches, we run several internal competitions throughout the season. The club also competes in local leagues and takes part in development and coaching events through our affiliations:
- Croquet England, the national governing body for the sport of croquet in England
- Southern Croquet Federation
- South East Croquet Federation
All match fees are included as part of the membership.
